Benefits & Features

EFFICIENCY AND PRODUCTIVITY

    • The powerful C4.4 electronically controlled engine meets China's non-road national three emission standards.
    • The dual pump hydraulic system provides sufficient pressure to ensure excellent digging performance and productivity.
    • Under any working conditions, the hydraulic interactive sensing system can utilize two hydraulic pumps. As the speed of the implement is increased, the pivoting is faster and more powerful, and the productivity will be improved.

PERFORMANCE WITH LESS FUEL

    • The engine reduces fuel consumption by up to 3% compared to the 318D, depending on the application.
    • The fuel-saving mode maintains excellent digging and lifting capabilities at standard power while balancing performance and fuel economy.
    • The boom and stick regeneration circuit saves energy during boom lowering and stick retraction operations.
    • The new compact design utilizes shorter tubes and tubing to reduce friction and pressure drop, allowing for more efficient use of power.

REDUCED MAINTENANCE TIME

    • There is an access door on the right side of the superstructure, and maintenance personnel can stand on the ground to maintain the pump, pilot filter, oil drain filter and engine oil filter.
    • Ground maintenance points at your fingertips allow for quick and efficient maintenance.
    • Engine radiators, oil coolers, air-to-air aftercoolers, primary fuel filters with oil-water separators (if they are integrated) and fuel fine filters are easily accessible through the access door on the left.
    • The air filter of the radiator has a double filter structure for excellent filtration; when the air filter is clogged, a warning is displayed on the monitor screen in the cab.

DESIGNED FOR OPERATORS

    • Adjustable seat and joystick consoles are available to suit your personal preferences.
    • The pilot operated joystick control is effortless and designed to allow the operator to maintain natural wrist and arm postures to maximize operator comfort and reduce fatigue.
    • The full color LCD monitor is capable of displaying 42 languages.
    • The cab shell is attached to the frame with a viscous rubber mount that not only reduces vibration and noise, but also increases operator comfort.

PURPOSE-BUILT CAT ATTACHMENTS

    • Site leveling and finishing work can be done quickly and easily with Cat grabs, thumb grips and hydraulic hammers.
    • With Cat buckets and compactors, you can do utility work quickly and perfectly.
    • The connector allows you to switch tooling in seconds without leaving the cab.
    • Check out the entire range of tooling for your machine at www.cat.com/attachments.

BUILT TO PERFORM

    • The modified X-frame structure extends service life.
    • Heavy-duty booms and sticks that are robotically welded and stress-relieved are standard.
    • The track shoes, chain links, roller, guide wheels and final drive are all made of high tensile strength steel.
    • The track links between the track pin and the pin bush are lubricated with grease to extend the life of the undercarriage and reduce noise.

BUILT-IN SAFETY FEATURES

    • The anti-slide covers the entire superstructure and storage compartment to prevent maintenance personnel from slipping during maintenance.
    • Countersunk bolts reduce the risk of tripping by workers during repairs and maintenance.
    • The engine radiator fan is enclosed in a thin wire mesh to reduce the risk of accidents.
