Loader Work Tools
Loader work tools enhance machine utilization and versatility with work tools. The Cat hydraulic broom makes cleanup a breeze. The multi-purpose bucket increases machine utilization. An optional hydraulic Quick Coupler is available for the Cat 446B.

Power Train
Designed for strength, performance, and versatility. Easy, on-the-go shifting between all gears, two- and all-wheel drive. A single lever controls both direction and speed for improved operator efficiency.
Front Axle
Large diameter, double-acting steering cylinder resists bending and is well protected.
Hydraulics
Provides full hydraulic lifting and digging forces at any engine speed. Variable flow, high-capacity pump exactly matches hydraulic power (flow and pressure) to match work demands for reduced fuel consumption; provides multi-function capability.
Heavy-duty main frame
Fully welded, one-piece frame absorbs stress and minimizes shock loads to the power train.
Caterpillar Autoshift Transmission
The Autoshift transmission allows direction and speed changes to be made with a single lever.
