FEATURES: Operator Station - The dxPC is a mobile purpose built Microsoft Windows based computer system. The system is equipped with a 305 mm (12 in) color touch screen, heavy-duty processor housing and a mini space saving keyboard with integral track ball mouse. Structures - Leveraging a chassis design that has been operating in Eucalyptus for more than 30,000 hours, enhancements were made to improve the structure and provide a durable frame for the high cycle debarking application. Hydraulics - Heavy Duty double-hinged self-aligning covers allow for superior access and serviceability to a compact easily accessible mono-block valve controlling all the harvester head functions. The mono-block valve design eliminates independent valve section cracking, seal leaks, tie rod bolts, and complicated repair procedures associated with stacked valve designs. Measuring Devices - New length and diameter measuring systems eliminates mechanical coupling of the measurement sensors to the roller motors and the knives providing increased reliability and less maintenance. Built in diagnostic light emitting diodes allow for encoder trouble shooting at a glance. A temperature range of -30 degrees Celsius to 100 degrees Celsius (-22 degrees Fahrenheit to 212 degrees Fahrenheit) ensures accurate measurements in all applications. Hoses - Cat® XT™ ES (Enhanced Spiral) ToughGuard™ hoses are utilized in critical locations on the harvester head. Cat ToughGuard hoses are designed to have exceptional abrasion resistance, and increased flexibility far exceeding the capabilities of standard hose so they can be routed through tight spaces. Heavy-duty armor guard spiral wrap is added where extra protection is required.
