Overview
The Perkins 400 Series is an extensive family of engines in the 0.5-2.2 litre range. The 3 cylinder 403-17 model is a mid-range 400 Series engine, combining performance, low operating costs and a compact package. From a packaging point of view, the 403-17 is the ideal engine for small industrial applications. It is offered with both indirect (IDI) and common rail fuel injection systems.
A very quiet 1.7 litre unit that delivers improved performance and reduced operating costs in a small, efficient package. Designed to meet EU Stage IIIA/U.S. EPA Tier 4 Interim equivalent emission standards.
