G3516J

G3516J LE Gas Engine

Overview

The line of G3500 engines brings versatility, uptime, and low operating cost to your gas compression operation. They are equipped with ADEM A3 technology that enables highest performance and safety while maintaining low emissions. Ideal applications for G3500 engines include gas lift, gas gathering, and wellhead gas compression. The Cat G3516J gas engines are rated at 1029 bkW (1380 bhp) @ 1400 rpm and 1119 bkW (1500 bhp) @ 1400 rpm and are NSPS site compliant capable with customer-provided aftertreatment.

Benefits & Features

Engine Design

- Proven reliability and durability - Ability to burn a wide spectrum of gaseous fuels - Robust diesel strength design prolongs life and lowers owning and operating costs - Broad operating speed range

Emissions

Meets U.S. EPA Spark Ignited Stationary NSPS Emissions for 2010 with customer provided aftertreatment.

Lean Burn Engine Technology

Lean-burn engines operate with large amounts of excess air. The excess air absorbs heat during combustion reducing the combustion temperature and pressure, greatly reducing levels of NOx. Lean-burn design also provides longer component life and excellent fuel consumption.
